WHITLEY HOUSE
ARCHITECTURE
The reconstruction project of the Whitley House retains the existing vertical and horizontal structures of the main supports, but incorporates a new outer façade and carves out the transformed inner spaces.
The existing 70-degree slanted angle at the frontage of the plot's boundary defines the character and form of the Whitley House. This feature is embodied in the geometry of the layered roof eaves that wrap around the primary spaces, providing ample sun-shading to the interior.
