VANTAGE HOUSE
ARCHITECTURE
The design of the Vantage House responds to the client's brief to have full-height glazing at the northern and eastern facade, and to maintain privacy at the south which faces the driveway entrance. Deep overhangs are created to serve as sun-shading to protect the internal living spaces from the harsh direct sunlight. This forms a major feature of the overall facade, where the architecture embodies a modern approach emphasizing the horizontal planes. Balconies with unhindered vistas accessible by all bedrooms envelope the perimeter of the second and third storey.
