JARDINE HOUSE

The Jardine House is an Additions & Alterations project that responds to the client's brief for an extension wing to cater to his family's growing needs. One of the challenges in this project involves keeping the integrity of the existing structures and floor heights, whilst maximizing the quality of the internal spaces. The new car porch introduced gives ample shade to the new semi-outdoor patio that overlooks the lush greenery. The eastern façade features a new slanted roof that is expressed as a floating detachment from the existing form.
