BACH HOUSE

The entrance into the Bach House embodies the client's brief to turn the home into a place of sanctuary. The approach into the main entrance portal is lined by the reflection pool and timber trellis that flows from the external into the interior space. Upon entering the Bach House, the eye is immediately drawn upward to the straight flight staircase, which is framed by a landscape view at the top. The lift core is wrapped behind the book-matched marble wall that also incorporates recessed shelving units. The living, dining and dry pantry areas open out to the view of the pool deck. The use of materials such as warm woods, bronze brushed metallics and textured stones form a well balanced palette throughout the interior space.
